Golden Harvest Sand Area

Get ready for farm-style fun in our magical Golden Harvest pit! We’ve traded traditional sand for a clean, dust-free sea of safe, kid-friendly artificial corn. It offers all the wonderful sensory fun of a classic sandpit, with absolutely none of the mess to take home in your socks!

Little farmers can scoop, pour, and sift their golden harvest using our beautifully crafted wooden farm tools, scales, and sifting chutes. Whether they are climbing the steps of the mini-barn playhouse, zooming down the slide, or working the grain wheels, this cozy farmstead zone is the perfect place to harvest big imaginations and healthy, creative play.

To keep our mini-barn clean and ensure a delightful sensory experience for all little farmers, please follow our golden harvest guidelines.

Keep Corn inside the Pit

Help us keep the farm neat! Please ensure all artificial corn kernels stay inside the play pit and are not thrown outside.

No Mouth Play (No Eating)

While our artificial corn is non-toxic and skin-friendly, it is NOT food. Please closely supervise toddlers to ensure nothing goes into their mouths.

Empty Your Pockets

Before leaving the pit, give your little ones a quick shake! Check pockets, cuffs, and hoods to ensure no golden corn hitches a ride home.

Grip Socks Mandatory

To maintain ultimate hygiene, both little farmers and parents must wear proper grip socks inside the harvest pit.

*Sanitized Daily: Our artificial corn kernels and wooden farm tools are thoroughly sanitized every day, providing a dust-free and hypoallergenic alternative to real sand.

Material

100% Safe, Dust-Free Artificial Corn Kernels

Let your kids scoop, pour, and sift through a beautiful golden sea of mess-free corn. Zoom down the mini-barn slide and cultivate big imaginations right here in Newmarket!

Why do you use artificial corn instead of real sand?

Traditional sand creates dust and sticks to wet hands, clothing, and socks, making it messy for parents. Our premium artificial corn provides the exact same rich sensory and fine-motor benefits of a sandpit, but it's 100% dust-free, hygienic, and shakes off instantly!

Is the artificial corn safe if a child accidentally swallows it?

Yes! The material is 100% non-toxic, safe, and designed specifically for children's indoor play. However, because the kernels are small, we strictly require parents to actively supervise their children to prevent any choking hazards or mouthing.

What age group benefits most from the Golden Harvest Sand Area?

This area is a haven for toddlers and preschoolers aged 1 to 6. The action of scooping, weighing on the wooden scales, and running the corn through sifting chutes is incredible for developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

What kind of toys and equipment are available inside the pit?

Our harvest pit is fully stocked with beautifully crafted wooden farm tools, realistic weight scales, sifting chutes, grain wheels, and a mini-barn playhouse complete with a toddler-safe slide!

Can parents sit inside the harvest pit with their children?

Absolutely! We highly encourage parents to join the farming fun. You can sit comfortably inside the wooden perimeter with your little ones to help them sift and weigh their golden harvest.

How do you keep the artificial corn clean?

Hygiene is our top priority in Newmarket. The entire play pit and all wooden equipment undergo a strict, multi-step sanitization process daily, ensuring a clean, hypoallergenic environment for your family.
